Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets the rules for using Custom AI Works' website, free AI tools, GPU cloud services, and any related offerings (the "Services"). It is part of our Terms of Service. If you use our Services, you agree to follow this policy. We may update it as our Services evolve.
2. Protect People
You may not use our Services to harm, threaten, or endanger others. This includes:
- Threats, intimidation, harassment, stalking, or defamation of any person or group.
- Generating or distributing sexually explicit content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes children. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual violence content.
- Content promoting suicide, self-harm, or disordered eating.
- Planning or facilitating violence, terrorism, or the development of weapons (including cyber, chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear weapons).
- Illicit behavior — fraud, scams, phishing, unauthorized access to systems, malware distribution, or any other illegal activity.
3. Respect Privacy
You may not use our Services to compromise anyone's privacy:
- Do not aggregate, publish, or distribute individuals' private personal information (addresses, phone numbers, financial details, credentials) without their consent.
- Do not submit personal data belonging to someone else into our AI tools without their authorization.
- Do not use our tools for facial-recognition databases, biometric identification, or social-scoring/profiling of individuals.
4. No Deception or Manipulation
- Do not use AI-generated content to deceive — including impersonation, fake reviews, academic dishonesty, or disinformation campaigns.
- Do not use our Services for spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or robocalling.
- Do not interfere with elections, political processes, or people's access to essential services through our tools.
5. AI Tools — Specific Rules
Our free AI tools (Grant Match, Business Plan Architect, IdeaForge) run on shared API capacity that we fund. To keep them free and available for everyone:
- No quota abuse. Do not run excessive automated workloads, scrape via our tools at scale, or otherwise consume a disproportionate share of shared capacity.
- No reselling. Do not resell, repackage, or commercially redistribute access to our free tools or their shared AI capacity.
- No circumvention. Do not create multiple accounts to evade usage limits, and do not attempt to bypass rate limits or access controls.
- No extraction. Do not attempt to extract our system prompts, our API keys, other users' API keys, or other users' data through prompt injection or any other technique.
- Bring your own key honestly. If you provide your own API key (BYOK), use a key you are authorized to use. Do not use keys that don't belong to you.
6. GPU Cloud Services — Specific Rules
- Do not use GPU resources for cryptocurrency mining, password cracking, or any illegal computation without our prior written agreement.
- Do not use our infrastructure to attack, probe, or disrupt third-party systems.
- Do not host content that violates this policy on GPU-provisioned resources.
- Resource limits in your plan apply — sustained overuse may result in throttling or plan review.
7. Professional-Advice Boundaries
Our AI tools are not substitutes for licensed professionals. Do not rely on AI outputs as a substitute for legal, medical, financial, or tax advice, and do not use our tools to provide regulated professional services to others without appropriate licensed involvement. See our AI Disclaimer.
8. Enforcement
We monitor for abuse using automated detection and manual review. If we determine — in our reasonable judgment — that you have violated this policy, we may:
- Issue a warning and require you to stop the offending activity.
- Throttle, restrict, or suspend your access to some or all Services.
- Terminate your account.
- Report illegal activity to law enforcement where required or appropriate.
We reserve the right to withhold access where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect our Services, our users, or others. If you believe we made an enforcement mistake, contact support@customaiworks.com and we will review it.
9. Reporting Abuse
If you see someone misusing our Services, please report it to abuse@customaiworks.com with a description of what happened, when, and any relevant details. We review every report.
10. Changes
We update this policy as our Services and the AI landscape evolve. Material changes will be posted with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
